We have a busy summer ahead of us with 3 weekly summer residencies during July and August. Our Crookhaven gigs will be starting up soon every Thursday night. We’ve been playing in Crookhaven every summer for the past 13 years and Max has been playing there even longer. So, it’s a very important part of our summer and we can’t wait to start. We’ll let you know when the first Crookhaven gig takes place. Every Wednesday night will find us in Casey’s Hotel from 9pm for the months of July and August. And we’re delighted to have been asked to play in The Tanyard, the newest pub in Skibbereen. The day has yet to be decided but we’ll let you know as soon as we know. And of course you can see us every Saturday night throughout West Cork. Looking forward to sharing a very musical summer with you all.
Alchemy are thrilled to have been asked to be involved in The Bank of Ireland Big Blue Box Challenge. We will be performing outside The Winery in Astna Square in Clonakilty at 10.30 am on Saturday 6th June accompanied by Dave McLelland on drums.

The Big Blue Box will travel from town to town by bike with the aim of raising money for the local SVP Mobdro iOS with members of the local community and Bank of Ireland staff set to travel 1,237 kilometres in total. Bank of Ireland promise to match each euro raised in the local communities.
Inside the Big Blue Box will be a symbolic item representing each town, area or community; something that each community would like to share with their neighbouring town. It could be a jersey, a seed or a tree, a piece of art or a plaque or simply a message of goodwill that the local community would like to pass on. Members of the local community will be encouraged to nominate an item for inclusion in the Big Blue Box in their local Bank of Ireland branch as part of the initiative.
